The Harlem Wizards vs. Lawrence County's Finest

Saturday night (4/25/09) I took Zach and Nathaniel (my mom, Eric and Mike were there also) to BNL to see the Harlem Wizards. It was soooo much fun! They put on a great game/performance and are really great with the audience. Zach and Nathaniel had a blast. The biggest guy on the team, Big Mike, came up and took Nathaniel's popcorn and started eating.... you should've seen the look on Nathaniel's face! The players keep coming up to Zach also and giving him hard time. A-Train (one of the players) came up and grabbed Zach up off the bleachers (in the middle of the game) and wanted me to take their picture.... while he had his hand over Zach's face.

Zach was super excited when he was called out by name to be a part of the halftime show! Then they got to do the whole meet and greet thing after the show. We all had a great time..... and we can't wait to see The Harlem Wizards again. If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend going if they are playing close to you! Zach's1st Baseball of 2009!!! 4/25/2009

Zach had his first game of the season today. It was the Devon Hensley Jamboree. He had a great time... and had a couple good plays. Since it wasn't a 'real' game today... they didn't keep score. Of course I (Ola) got a sunburn. Nathaniel (Zach's cousin) was able to come and watch him play today too... so that made him even happier!
